Was an extremely tough week back to dieting bc Glenn doesnt start I'll tomorrow and was eating all sorts of bad stuff plus two outings with friends and a dinner out at a restaurant but I did good and lost 6 lbs. I was at 161 last monday morning (162 when i went to weightloss clinic on Wednesday and weighed in with clothes on) and was 155 this morning (naked)! Making progress! The limited to no carbs the first 4 days from going to clinic was really hard but I hit ketosis on Sunday morning so now I can reintroduce good carbs back to my diet! Yey! It's So hard for me I not eat fruits and veggies. I can do without the starchy veggies but I need my basics! So here is to another week -> my bridal
Shower is Sunday so I may cheat a little that day since I know my sister (and bridesmaids) have ordered in food that I'm sure will be super yummy, I'll be good and not over-eat but I don't want to be rude and not eat (even though they would understand)! Hoping to break 150 by next Monday!!
Oh yea - went to try on the dress yesterday, it fit beautfully, getting alterations done and will be able to pick up in 2 weeks, which is still enough time to get rush alterations done if needed before wedding if Dress becomes too big, altho bc it's a Corset back, thy should be able to just tie it tighter and Not have to do anything. Although if I have to pay for additional alterations bc I lost weight, I won't even be mad :)
The Shedding before the Wedding!
My attempt to make myself accountable for everything I shove into my mouth... I want to shed at least 20 lbs before the wedding!!

Happy New Year... I suck
well I apparently suck at dieting... you'd think my wedding would be motivation enough... why was it so easy for me in 2009?? I am back up to 160 today :( But I have been crazy binge/bad eating all holiday break. I'm going back to the weight loss clinic on January 4th so I'll be having official weekly weigh-ins... I'm only doing it for a month (for now - since that is all the Living Social deal is good for) - I may keep going depending on price until the wedding. Glenn and his parents are doing it as well. I know once Glenn starts (a week after me since I advised him to wait until after the Goody Challenge since the low caloric intake isn't good for that amount of running) I will be good to go b/c he gets so anal when he is serious about dieting so that will be helpful. Plus his parents will be doing it too, so we'll all be able to help each other. I just looked up my 2009 stats (I'm a dork and have them on a spreadsheet saved) - in a month (4 weekly session) I lost 19.4 lbs and dropped my BMI from 30.4-26.9 and fat % from 39 to 34.5 so I am using that as my baseline, although I'm 9 lbs lighter starting out this time. If I could lose the same 19.4 lbs again in 4 weeks, I'd be ecstatic! I re-signed up for the gym b/c my whole "it's nice out, I'll run outside from now on" idea failed this winter after I cancelled my LFF membership with maybe 2 runs total.. so I signed up for planet fitness since it's cheap and I only want it for the cardio machines.. (and the tanning bed to get rid of my tan lines before the wedding). I plan to start that tomorrow after work (assuming the 1st day back from work isn't too bad after being off since December 22nd!)
So now for real. the countdown to the wedding is getting close - 47 more days!! Can you believe it?? I'd be happy to be back to 140 by the wedding day, and I know it's not healthy doing it this way, but I want to look pretty and thin in our wedding pics, and I know right now I'll be miserable with how I look if I don't do something!! I've already got my healthy lunch planned for tomorrow (hard boiled eggs for breakfast, turkey for lunch, oranges for snack and probably potstickers for dinner since I need to finish the package up before the clinic diet starts - they aren't that bad for you I just know they aren't included on it)
I'll try to post a little more regularly, but not committing to daily. Wish me motivation, I need it!!

Day 15 and 16 -- Boot Camping it up!
Haven't felt like going to Boot Camp the last two days, but forced myself to anyways! I'm starting to get discouraged because I still feel like my clothes are just as tight as they have been and the scale isn't going down either :( I feel like 2 weeks into the diet I should be noticing either loss of inches or pounds or both... I guess I better start increasing my protein and reducing my carbs more rather than just watching my calories, b/c I'm not getting anywhere!I definitely over ate on Tuesday but still was under 2000 calories and went to Boot Camp... so it shouldn't have been that bad.. No cheat day for me this week, that's for sure!

Day 14 - Puppy Day!
Well completely off topic but we rescued two puppies today! Kind of spur of the moment, we had filled out an application online and they called us back on way to Boot Camp today, and then we went to meet them and fell in love.. They are two little girls and soo adorable! I'll post pics once we pick them up on Thursday!
Now as for my diet... I did good today. I didn't make it grocery shopping so I didn't have my regular fruit for breakfast and I was starving after having my lunch so I went to the cafeteria and had a 2nd lunch which held me over all day and through boot camp, which was good b/c I didn't have enough time to eat between work and Boot Camp. I think I'm starting to get a cold, so I almost didn't go to Boot Camp today, but I'm glad I did, it was a great work out! I asked the trainer how many calories he thinks I'm burning during each session, he says with my effort around 700-900. I'm only counting 500 per session though since the app tells me only around 300, figured I'd take the middle ground to estimate

My Birthday / Birthday Weekend
OK, well I've been slacking on updating... lets see where I left off
Day 10 - My Birthday - I was good all day long and only had a few chips/cheese while tailgating, and considering the amount of beer and food we had there, I did really good!
Day 11 - My parents came to town and we went for my Birthday Dinner at Bonefish Grill - I had Tilefish, which was pretty yummy, I was good all day, and I stuck to my guns about no alcohol, but I definitely ate too much bread!
Day 12 - Cheat Day - Drinks around the World, enough said lol (Although I did run a 5k in the morning)
Day 13 - Since I was pretty hungover it helped me to not eat a lot, I didn't keep track though all weekend b/c we were out and about, overall I didn't do too bad though.
Week 2 weigh in: 156.4 lbs
Total Lost: 1.8 lbs
Days of Exercise: 5
Overall, I should be down 4 lbs by now.. but considering my Birthday weekend, I can't be too mad, and I FEEL so much better from going to boot camp!!

Day 9 - Jello Arms!
Wow, I was sore today! My arms and chest got worse as the day went on, and my legs stayed about the same as yesterday. I was glad to learn we weren't doing any strength training today at Boot Camp b/c my knees hurt since I can't do push ups yet without being on my news and we did a ton yesterday and I wasn't sure I'd be able to hold myself up with my arms since they were so sore and jello like. We did a lot of cardio work and running today, actually did a fair amount of running yesterday too. We never did any running at the previous boot camp we attended. I definitely like this one much better than the other one. The other people in the class are friendlier (there are only 2-3 others) and the trainer is better at showing you how to do things correctly. I ate too close to the start tonight because I felt dizzy/nauseous for a lot of the class tonight - or maybe i was just working that hard? I'm thinking it's more likely that I ate too closely to working out b/c I kept burping up potstickers lol - I'm going to try to go Friday this week before my parents get to town for my Birthday, which will be 4 times this week! I want to keep this up, I want to see results!! :)
